Had an excellent experience with the Constantia Wine Tour! Meighan is an excellent guide and curated a wonderful half day tour. We enjoyed a fantastic half day tour including a 3-course lunch that felt beautifully curated and personalized. Meighan is so knowledgeable about the region and all things South African wines (and knows all of the staff at the vineyards well - they know she’s a great host!). Both vineyards we visited were excellent and the overall experience exceeded expectation! Would recommend to others and will be back!

What a wonderful experience! We spent a delightful three hours here. We did the winemaking tour with the wine tasting and chocolate pairing afterwards. It was an amazing experience. Our tour guide, Nathaniel, made us feel like honoured guests, and he made the whole wine tour and tasting informative and fun. During the wine tasting after the tour, we got to sample 5 unique wines, each one paired with a delicious strip of chocolate. My favourite was the Pinotage. There was a little surprise extra taste of the dessert wine, so actually 6 glasses of wine! We got to keep our wine glasses as souvenirs after the tasting. We explored the Groot Constantia Museum and surrounds as well, before we left. There are a couple of eateries dotted around the winery, but we did not stay for a meal as we had to get somewhere else, however we had a quick look at the menus at Jonkershuis and Simon's and they looked amazing, and affordable. A visit to this picturesque and historic place is highly recommended. We visited at the start of May 2025, outside of the busy tourist season, so we were able to simply walk in and get tickets when we arrived. I would suggest it would be better to book in advance during busier times. Unfortunately, the tour is not wheelchair accessible, as there are 3 flights of steps to climb when the tour starts. This is just an observation, and it didn't affect our group.

The buildings, the history, the beauty and of course the wine. Sampled 5 reds and their Pinotage is so incredible…so I bought some bottles but doubt they will make it home!!!

A really fun few hours I'm a beautiful setting and immense value for money. This day out costed around £7pp (gbp). For thar small sum of money we strolled the picturesque grounds, had a small 30 minute guided tour of the active & working winery, then had a wine tasting experience of up to 5 wines each. We also got to keep out glasses as a souvenir. There are a couple of charming little eateries on site too which we took advantage of to line the stomach. With SA being SA I need not have to tell you how good the food was for relatively little cost. I'd definitely recommend. However the tour is not wheelchair accessible so be warned... there are 3 flights of steps

Did the full day tour. Three vineyards all spectacular. Lunch was provided in a beautiful setting and the views from Constantia Glen breathtaking. Bradley was extremely knowledgable as couldn’t do enough. Best day of our trip
